不同于 mainstream English 和 EAL，English Language （英语语言学）学的同学相对少，难度挑战更大，知识点更加分散。因此我们特别针对教学大纲制定了完善的教学计划和课后习题供学生们学习，不仅提高Unit1/2 成绩，也会直接衔接VCE Unit 3/4, 高考高分有保障！

第一学期教学知识点如下：

-  Nature and functions of language (primary modes of language, language functions, influence of
language choice, features that characterise speech 
and writing)

- Metalanguage study 

- Language acquisition (nature, development stages and major theories)

- Language learning 

- Bilingualism and multi-lingualism

- Reading different forms of texts, including 
analytical commentary, a case study, an investigative report, and an essay
